Burlington helps pave the way for new trend in ‘haute horticulture’

Fundamental to the urban rooftop garden that designer Arabella Lennox-Boyd has created as part of the Central District of Hong Kong’s The Landmark Project, is blue/grey Kirkby slate paving supplied by Burlington, the natural stone producer.

Arabella has deployed the use of the Burlington Kirkby paving to anchor the design to the building. In doing so, contrasting textures of Burlington’s slate - supplied with both a line textured and flamed finish – have been used to create the hard paving area that has been formed in a grid pattern.
